Hello, I am Rishabh Dev Sharma and a certified Hatha yoga teacher in Eindhoven. My mission with starting Yin and Joyfulness is to help people reach a state of inner peace. Teaching Hatha yoga is one of the ways to fulfill this mission as I believe that most people with regular day jobs would benefit greatly from the practice of yoga especially Hatha yoga.
I am a full-time R&D engineer and work from my desk at least 8 hours a day. I turned to Hatha yoga when I was suffering from stress, body pains due to bad posture and a lack of purpose in life. Practicing Hatha yoga helped me to connect with myself on a deeper level. The asanas, breathing exercises and meditation brought great awareness to the connection between mind and body. I began to let go of attachment to my emotions and thoughts. My physical and mental health improved considerably and I was felt lighter and more energetic than ever before. With regular practice, I was able to respond to life events with a sense of calm and equanimity.
“We teach best what we most need to learn (from Richard Bach).”
Having benefitted greatly from the practice of Hatha yoga and its philosophy, I undertook the challenge to become a Hatha yoga teacher so that other people can also benefit from this. Stress and boredom have become an almost inevitable part of our daily lives and I believe: through the study and regular practice of yoga, one can learn to control the mind and the physical body so that he/she may attain inner peace and a state of equanimity no matter the external circumstances. In this way we can fulfill our highest potential and perform our worldly duties peacefully.
It was a very positive experience for me. Especially after identifying and dealing with the negative emotion I felt some tension relieved from my back and shoulders
Relaxing and peaceful, rejuvenated and organizing peace in thoughts was what interested me!
Good way to unwind at the end of the week. Gave me some time away from constantly thinking and that was relaxing & refreshing
Very introspective, I lost track of time and almost forgot where I was until I opened my eyes again. Very relaxing!
